As a periodontal specialist joining Biltmore Periodontics in Asheville, Dr. Martin will be providing expanded access to patient care in the Western North Carolina area for the treatment of all stages of periodontal disease, aesthetic gum contouring and in the placement of dental implants.

Dr. Martin, a North Carolina native, is thrilled to be a part of the Asheville dental community. He aims to provide gentle and exceptional dental care alongside a wonderful team to help you improve your oral and overall health.

Upon completion of his undergraduate education at UNC-Chapel Hill, Dr. Martin continued his education at UNC-Chapel Hill where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery and later his Master of Science in Periodontology. Dr. Martin’s residency training focused on a variety of periodontal care including comprehensive periodontal therapy for the treatment of periodontal and peri-implant disease, soft and hard tissue reconstruction, dental implant therapy, as well cosmetic periodontal procedures. While in residency he also received advanced training in IV conscious sedation.

Dr. Martin is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, as well as the North Carolina Dental Society.

While not in the dental office, Dr. Martin and his wife Olivia enjoy spending time hiking, attending live music events, and occasionally traveling to small towns around NC to engage in local events.
